Teachers, come play and experiment with us! Do you have a vision about something the Museum should offer for teachers? Want to try out an experimental lesson or activity plan? Looking to build your teacher network? Designed to uncover educators’ needs, build support networks, and test new ideas, this program is for you! Drop into the Museum after school to check out the current exhibition, Still in Sound, then collaborate with CSM educators and a teacher from Lighthouse Writers Workshop to verbally and visually express your hopes, dreams, and needs for your teaching practice. Together, we’ll develop a collaborative work that captures the spirit and energy of our unique group at a moment in time.
The Museum will provide light snacks and soft drinks.
Agenda: 4–5: Drop into the Museum and join CSM educators for conversational explorations of the current exhibition. 5–5:10: Galleries close; teachers convene in the Museum lobby 5:10–6: Writing and sketching workshop with CSM educators and Lighthouse Writers Workshop 6–6:30: Debrief and brainstorming about upcoming sessions
